Frustrated by the limited options available for office furniture on a budget, this illustration studio approached us to design something more suited to their aesthetic sensibilities. 

Reacting to the throwaway nature of most affordable solutions, we decided to use natural materials in a heavy, tectonic way.  Thick mild steel plates form a service spine onto which adjustable solid timber desktops, lighting and magnets are clipped.
